Microsoft and Bungie... parting ways.

Looks like Bungie is going back to being an independent company. It'd be nice to go back to those halcyon days of Marathon, Myth and Oni. Full details found here.

I find it kinda funny that microsoft would be willing to part with bungie. Oh I remember the days of being 8 and watching you and chris playing marathon in the basement.

Speaking of which, are you online for halo 3, Shawn?

That reminds me. A couple of months ago I downloaded (and even paid for) the release of Marathon: Durandal on Xbox Live Marketplace. I have to say, it was awesome. The development house did a fantastic job of updating the textures and sprites, but kept the genuine Marathon feel. It was taking a trip back to 1995 all over again. Chris needs to get his ass a 360 stat.
